What is The budventure?
The Budventure is an adventure, fantasy, and comedy comic series about friendship, growth, and good vibes under pressure. Our heroes, Sativa and Indica, leave their small town and stumble into a cosmic quest to recover the Seven Pieces of Light before the universe slips into darkness.
Everything changes at MT.420, where guardians Stick & Stone reveal a hidden gateway—the Hot Box Dimension. Visibility is low, stakes are high.
Meet the Cast
Sativa – Restless dreamer with showman energy; brave when it counts.
Indica – Loyal, thoughtful, and learning to step out of his comfort zone; part-time delivery driver for his grandad.
OG Kush – Indica’s grandad old-school wisdom the one who nudges the boys toward destiny.
Meow – Ninth-life cat, café manager, guardian of a secret garden, mysterious ally.
Kief – Kingpin of the Grinder Gang; obsessed with the Ethereal Green.
Charlotte – Budtender at Club Bong; warmth, and caring.

Trey – Disposable lighter on a mission; courageous.
King Clip – Ruthless ruler of Butane Bastion; wants to control the world’s flame.

Meet the Creator
I’m Courtney Buchanan, London-born writer, director, editor, and illustrator—founder of SE3 Studios. Self-taught, I started my passion for story telling by making YouTube skits, taught dance, made an indie feature film that premiered in London, and then built BUDVENTURE to blend humour, world-building, and culture into a universe fans can return to.
